This is a quiet campground that is great if you're looking for rest and relaxation. They have three beaches on a nice cool lake. One beach has a sand volleyball court, one has an area for small children, and one is for older people and has a floating platform to jump off. The restrooms are clean. A couple of drawbacks are the metered hot water and most of the campground is on a hill. However, I've gone here four times this year because of the peace. They do bingo and have an occasional band or DJ. They do not have a camp store but there is a small store about 1/2 mile away. They sell wood and have a security gate. They owners are very nice and run a tight campground. Another drawback is they allow dogs but you can not walk it in the campground. It must be kept on your site. They also have a basketball court, laundry facility, and boat launch. |
