This campground is amazing! Many things to do for the kiddos, and plenty other kids around to play with! The sites are large and roomy and bath houses are great! Will go back and recommend to others!

We stayed in Area A, which is strictly a primitive camping area. Every site in the whole park had a gravel pad on which you were required to set your camp. These pads varied in size and proximity to the street and each other. In Area A there was a mix of back-in and walk-in sites. We stayed in a walk-in site (our first) that was 40 or 50 feet downhill from the street. It was a gorgeous lakefront site that was approximately 15 feet above the lake. there were two nearby potable water spigots and the bathrooms were plumbed and clean. It is near a pleasant beach swimming area and the showers were only a little farther away. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The camp store was a life saver. Firewood pricing was the most reasonable we've found yet. For only $6.00 we got 18-20 pieces which was enough for two campfires (all we needed for this trip). Driving through the remainder of the park we felt that the RV sites were too closely packed together and could not comfortably accommodate a RV-tent combination, however for tent campers the sites are great.

The campground is huge! But I don't think there was a bad spot in the entire campground! Some are wooded and some are lakefront. The bath houses were great! Each shower is self contained - a huge plus! There are basketball courts, a volleyball court, hiking and bike trails, and more. The staff was very efficient, making check-in fast. You can even rent bikes for 4 hours or all day, and the fishing was great! We had a great experience!
