We tented it here in late fall, just before Halloween and it was freezing! So, no tubing for us! We did fish and even caught some and enjoyed several hikes with beautiful fall colors. There are playgrounds for the kids and our kids had a blast. Clean bathroom, clean park, would very much recommend it.

Great area if you like to canoe or hike. Both activities are outstanding in this area. Campground is nice with heavily wooded to open areas. This is a great place to get away for a weekend to relax.

Great park, nice campground with sites for any taste. Family and pet friendly. I will say that if you plan to plug in you may need an extension. Our motorhome has a 30 ft cord and we keep a 30 ft extension. Even with both cords we could not park on the pad and reach the outlet. We moved the table and parked off the pad which meant we couldn't use the firepit. Turned out fine because we were with 2 other families and it's our custom to gather at 1 site for the fire each night. You can't beat the hiking here.

A GREAT place to camp. Clean campground with well kept facilities. NO WATER hook-ups though as with many State Parks. We made our reservations about 9 months in advance. We were in lots 220 and 221 in the Sugar Ridge area. Very well shaded as it was about 93 degrees every day we were there. Nice cul-de-sac for the kids to ride their bikes on. A very cool park was nearby for the kids. A water fountain and spigot was in the center of the circle as well. The raccoons are CRAZY there! They are extremely friendly both night and day. We were warned so we just made sure we left no food or drinks out. Their is tubing, kayaking and canoeing nearby and it was a BLAST! The olympic sized pool in the park was a refreshing surprise, it was $2.00pp for entry. The trails are AMAZING!! We did almost all except the stairs as we had Amara, the family Weimeraner, with us. We will be going back in the future.

Very nice, clean campground. You will not get bored here. Canoe, and tube rentals. The staff was nice, and the playgrounds were well kept. Very nice for fall camping! We stayed in the twin oaks section, and just loved it. Make reservations if you plan to go in the fall!!

If you like beautiful, though somewhat rugged trails you have to camp here. The campground is very nice with open and shaded sites. Canoe and tube rentals close by for float trips on Sugar Creek. Fills up quick on holiday weekends and Covered Bridge fest.
