We stayed here for 5 nights in late June and used it as a home base while exploring the Colorado Springs area. It's a nice, quiet location away from the city with plenty of trees and plenty of room between sites. Colorado Springs is about a 20-minute drive, and Canon City (Royal Gorge) is about 30 minutes away. Returning to the campground each afternoon felt like heading 'home' for the day. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We stayed here in late October while visiting Colorado Springs. It was a nice campground but it seemed like it took forever to get back and forth into Colorado Springs. If we were to go again, we would try to find a campground closer to the city.

My wife, 3 kids, 1 dog and I stayed at this campgound at the beginning of May. We had a great time at this campground. The owners and employees were very friendly and offered many differant things to our family. They have a very nice recreation room with a large big screen TV in case you want to watch a movie. There are many things to do in the area and in the colorado springs area. We visited the Air force academy, garden of the gods and Canyon City. If you ever get a chance to go to Canyon City then make sure you visit Skyline Drive. It is a single lane one way road that goea about 850 feet in the air. There are no gaurdrails however it was a pretty easy drive. There were some very neat fossils in the rocks along the drive. We did not have any cell phone service at the campground however they offer free wireless internet service to all customers. If I had anything bad to say about the campground it would be that the fire pits from neighboring campsites were pretty close to our site and our camper. Hope you get a chance to visit. Happy Camping...

My wife and I stayed here with out three kids and two dogs. A nice get back to nature campground. Not near an urban area or right off the highway. They do some crafts, but you should bring your own fun for the kids. The owner was very freindly and helpful.
