This is my favorite place! Clean campground, great hosts, nice new showers, new restaurant, and right on the Klamath River! Great hiking all around and many places to feel 100 miles from it all! Fishing for salmon is unlike any other surrounded by birds of all kinds and sea lions! Trees of Mystery is nearby with the stories tall Paul Bunyan and his Blue Ox Babe! Fern Canyon has free roaming elk and this is the place where some of Jurrasic Park was filmed! A not to be missed vacation! WE LOVE IT!

This campground is right in the middle of the Redwoods & Alder trees. It extends down to the Klamath River for great fishing and Whale Watching. It is an easy 2 or 3 mile ride from the Hwy. You have a choice of areas to camp. If you want all the hook ups, Satellite TV & WiFi, you have the upper area with pull thru & back in spots. They have a grass lawn & trees. That is where we stayed, and it was great! All spots have fire pits and picnic tables if you want them. There is also the Meadow which is very shady and has the main hook ups; water, electric & sewer. No WiFi or Satellite (I believe). There is also the Tent area with many trees and grass. Nice clean restrooms and hot showers (free!) were a plus and a well stocked store/office, and laundry room! They even have their own Salmon Smoker and will either smoke yours or you can buy theirs! Firewood is available and the host is very helpful! Aaron took us on an edible plant tour and showed us the Bigfoot Trap they have there! We stayed a week and can't wait until our next vacation to come back to Kamp Klamath!
