This place seamed pretty kool, I noticed as I pulled in at 11pm that lots of full on motor homes with hookups, we were only in my truck with a tent on this trip, so we only payed $14 for the night, the showers were $4 for 5min and the gals in the lil camp store where you pay were humm.. not very helpful I say that's the weak point for me in the area, page store employees seamed not helpful either, but the campground was ever so clean and roomy for sure, a must see spot, we then headed up as I had my 4x4 the 89 turned right on road at the tiny store in Big Water and drove down a dirt road for 30mi and then a closed wash for 6mi to the lake shore and had a great kayak paddle with my dogs, you can see picts at kiapet.com click on out an about and then bottom you will see link. Great trip never been there, then we hit flagstaff, marshall lake, lake mary, sedona and havasu, luved it!

This Campground inside the national park, so you pay a weekly usage fee to get in. We stayed on loop C. This was a good choice because the location was beautiful. We had the desert canyon behind us and a great view of the lake. The sites are large, level concrete with picnic table, fire ring, and BBQ. The restroom/shower (down by the office store) is new and very nice. You have to pay $2 for the showers but you do not have to rush, we were able to get three kids clean in that the amount of time. The lake is just a short walk further down (and up) from the office/restroom area. There is a great beach. They offer a shuttle into town and to the dam and you can use the pool at the hotel. The only complaint is the sites face the hills and not the lake
