We love this campground, it's down a long dead-end road with a gate house, so there's no traffic at night. The lakeside sites are wonderful and the creekside sites have loads of shade and some are huge. There are a few pull-thru sites along the creek and a laundry at the bathhouse, which also has hot showers. I don't know why the list says they have neither. The recent tornadoes did not damage the campground. We have stayed here several times, the kids like the sandy beach, I like the quiet. The only drawback to staying here is no cell service, you have to drive a good 20 minutes to get coverage-though I am sure that will improve as more towers are added. | ||

Camped here several weeks ago. Expected to be eaten alive by mosquitoes - none! Camped right beside the water (site #8) and loved waking up to the lake right outside my window. No sewer available is the worst thing I can say! 2 playgrounds, beach access, small and quiet. Clean bathroom at the other loop. LOVED it! | ||
